Cookies and browser storage

What Keystone keeps in your browser, why, and how to remove it.

Last updated 4 November 2026.

The short version

  • No advertising cookies, no tracking and no analytics.
  • Keystone stores only what it needs to work: your plan, your settings, and your sign-in if you have an account.
  • The website's fonts and code are served from our own site, so viewing a page does not send your details to other companies.

What is stored in your browser

NameWhat it doesHow long
keystone_living_plan_v1Your plan and numbers, so they are there when you come backUntil you clear it or sign out and remove it
keystone_plan_v1Answers from the earlier Keystone assessment, so they can carry into a planUntil you clear it
keystone_acct_nudge_offRemembers that you closed the account reminderUntil you clear it
keystone_notice_okRemembers that you closed the storage noticeUntil you clear it
sb-…-auth-tokenKeeps you signed in, if you have an accountUntil you sign out
sb-…-code-verifierA one-time security check during sign-inRemoved once you are signed in

These are kept in your browser's local storage, not sent to us with every page. They are strictly necessary for Keystone to work, so we do not ask for consent to them, but you can remove them at any time.

Cookies

Keystone itself sets no cookies. Our host, Cloudflare, may set a strictly necessary security cookie (such as __cf_bm) to protect the site from automated attacks. It is not used for tracking or advertising.

When information leaves your browser

  • Contact form, or the optional email when you build a plan: sent to Web3Forms and delivered to our inbox.
  • An account: your plan is saved to our database at Supabase.
  • Sign in with LinkedIn: you are sent to LinkedIn to sign in, and LinkedIn tells us your name and email.
  • Download as PDF: the PDF is made in your browser. Nothing is sent.

Removing it

Clear this site's data in your browser settings, or in the workspace choose Sign out, then Remove it from this browser. Clearing it removes any plan that is not saved to an account or as a file, so download a copy first if you want to keep it.
